چکیده

Abstract Fibulorhizoctonia psychrophila causes lenticel spot in stored pome fruit. A Dutch survey revealed that damage can be observed regularly individual lots at low incidence to occasionally incidences above 25% after storage for five months or longer under specific controlled atmosphere conditions. The source of inoculum the psychrophilic pathogen is not known. species-specific TaqMan PCR assay was developed quantify DNA orchard litter considered as potential source. 2008 samples various types such dead leaves, fallen fruits and mummies necrotic tissues grasses weeds, collected 2009–2012 ten apple twenty pear orchards, were analyzed. Particle films for suppression of the codling moth (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) in apple and pear orchards.

Studies were conducted in 1997 and 1998 to evaluate the effects of three particle film formulations consisting of kaolin and adjuvants on neonate larvae, ovipositing adult females, and eggs of the codling moth, Cydia pomonella (L.). Neonate larval walking speed, fruit discovery rate, and fruit penetration rate on apple host plants coated with particle films were significantly lower than on host...

Pome Fruits — Implementation Leafrollers in Apple

Pandemis Leafroller Study site description. MD as a control for pandemis leafroller (PLR) was evaluated at a single study site in 1992. Six apple blocks (23.6 acres) were treated with Hamaki-con (Biocontrol, Ltd.) dispensers. These dispensers contain ca. 150 mg of Z11-14OAc, which is the main component of the PLR pheromone. Application rates of 250 d/a, 400 d/a, and two treatments of 400 d/a we...
